Goldings Estate, Hertford
Goldings Estate lies within the curtilage of Goldings Manor and this particular terrace of cottages was both listed and within the conservation area of the Estate. The client wished to append a swimming pool and gymnasium to his dwelling and the practice arrived at an ingenious semi sunken solution which both addressed the conservation issues and the nearby mature trees. Planning, Listed Building and Conservation Area consents were all obtained.
