Two new affordable housing schemes completed for Rosemary Simmons Memorial Housing Association

We are pleased to announce the completion of two new-build Affordable Housing projects for Rosemary Simmons Memorial Housing Association (now Crown Simmons Housing). Imber Cross in Thames Ditton (pictured here) provides 12 new homes including 6 to Wheelchair Housing Design Guide Standard. Fir Tree Road in Guildford provides 17 new units including 3 houses and 14 flats.

Both schemes are designed to meet Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4 and all units are designed to Lifetime Homes Standards. Both schemes incorporate on-site renewable energy technology including air-source heat-pumps, solar-thermal and solar-PV panels and MVHR (Mechanical Ventilation with Heat Recovery) systems.

Both projects are redevelopments of existing sites where HPA have been able to add significant value by increasing the site density and providing accommodation with space and construction standards significantly above the industry standard for this sector.
