Completion of new build house, Chelsea SW3

Haines Phillips achieved Planning and Conservation area consents in early 2008 for the demolition of an existing house and the erection of a new house in the Cheyne Conservation Area, SW3.

The external facades were conceived to blend in harmoniously with the surrounding buildings, a mixture of brick and stucco render façade townhouses. The internal layout, with an area of 3,150 square feet, was developed to maximise light and usable space in the narrow plot. A basement containing kitchen, dining and living spaces was inserted below the existing rear garden, which was landscaped in a simple, low maintenance design.

We worked closely in conjunction with interior designers Bahlly Luxury Living to develop the contemporary interior fit-out, using a restrained palette of luxurious materials, fittings and fixtures.
