Planning consent achieved for mixed-use refurbishment and extension project in Brighton

We were delighted to obtain planning consent recently for the refurbishment and extension of a prominent mixed-use corner building in Brighton's Old Town Conservation Area.

The building is currently in a rather dilapidated condition (as you can see from the photo), with a number of boarded up window openings and unsightly kitchen extract ductwork to the rear.

Our scheme will sensitively refurbish and upgrade the building as a whole and restore the public elevations to their former glory. A commercial shop unit will be located on the basement and ground floors. Three high quality apartments will be created on the upper floors with a small, discrete extension and balcony space added to the rear elevation and not visible from the public realm.
