Alterations to the rear elevation and creating a new terrace balcony

A number of windows and doors have been replaced to restore the proportions of the original building and to accommodate the creation of a new terrace at ground floor level.

Detailed design & specification of the internal fitout

We worked closely with our clients to prepare the detailed design and specification of the interior joinery, staircases and other elements. Using a 3D measured building survey information allowed us to design the new building elements so that they can be seamlessly integrated in to the original building fabric.

Full architectural service from concept to completion

Our services included developing the design and brief with the clients, obtaining planning and listed building consents, detailed technical design, and careful liaison with the client and contractor during the building works.

New elements of the house were carefully integrated in to the historic layers of the building that became revealed during the build.
