Expanding and enhancing the existing house
Our clients approached us having purchased a large, detached early 20th century family house in Crouch End, near Priory Park.
The house had a grand street frontage but had been altered internally a number of times, and also included an ugly non-original closet wing extension.
We obtained planning consent and prepared the detailed technical design for construction of a large replacement rear extension including a grand, high ceilinged contemporary kitchen and dining area facing out on to the rear garden.
A side extension allows us to include a new utility room and boot room on the ground floor a reconfigured staircase to access the upper floors.

The main body of the first floor was reorganised to create 3 generous bedrooms with the bathrooms added within the side extension. A fourth bedroom was added in the new rear extension.

A master bedroom suite was added to the second floor within a large loft dormer extension facing the rear garden, and an enlargement of the front gable bay to contain the en-suite bathroom.
